The one thing that most people don’t know about solar power for houses is that the solar panel itself can be constructed without extensive mechanical knowledge!

Let me tell you my story…

See, a while back, I figured that if someone wants a solar power setup at his place, then he would’ve to make a trip to the stores to purchase the panel.

Simple right?

Well, that depends…

After all, there’s a small issue of budget…

See, I went looking for a solar panel at a couple of stores and when I saw the price tags, I just couldn’t believe my eyes!

The cheapest one was $ 799!

Thankfully, the retail assistant offered a positive solution for my problem. He said that since I wanted to power my small work shed, then I should just try building my own solar panel!

And should I wish to power more house loads, then I can always make multiple solar panels for my home.

Okay, sounds interesting but slightly daunting too…

Now, on the internet, there’s plenty of information pertaining to DIY solar power for houses. Okay that’s great but…

There’s a small issue of unreliable instructions…

The thing is DIY solar panel instructions I found online are not written in plain English, packed with jargon and no simple to follow outline for beginners.

Some are very expensive too. I found one with a $ 200 price tag!

After surfing online for hours, I finally discovered a ridiculously simple way to build a solar panel!

So what is it?

DIY video instructions that takes you step-by-step!

All the while, I was searching for printable instructions only to get bogged down by all the technical jargon, poorly written steps and complicated diagrams.

With videos instructions, I can view each assembling step in great detail. How to solder the wires, wiring configuration, fixing blocking diodes and glass sheets to the panel etc, are clearly shown.

It was a bit tricky but fun and video instructions made all the difference, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to finish my very first DIY solar power for houses project!
